decomposure

The term de- is added to a word to connote a removal.
Like de-activate or de-odourise. What about design?

Only Her Teddybears Know

Only her Teddybears Know is a film/comic book project I did when I was 21. I admit I was abit ambitious and dived head first into a matured themed plot, thinking I could handle it all. But it turned out well, particularly comic book wise. Below are some display shots and some pages from the comic book.

Kazumasa Nagai

beautiful japanese poster designs from the 60s.
very modern.

united we stand

the first one wasnt very nice i think.
just messing around with music memorabilia.
just a singapore themed digi-collage thing i did.
united we sian (above right) was unintentional.

brandon charisa justin

this is completed, complete with a mororbike at the right. this isnt the full image of course. the full image can be enjoyed t the digi painting fair coming up later next year. this is a gif. click image for crazy blinking action.

Joga

I was looking at the photog students work on display today on the walls of my school. I must say I was impressed by many of the concepts. I was particularly intruiged by those that bordered on the absurd. Its so crazy. Made me stand there and really wonder the artist's intention. I got really excited for them. Surrealism seems to be the hots in photog just as the Bebas font is for to the vis commers.

Reminds me of my two photomanipulations, above.

Development: The White Apartment

I find myself absorbed into doing this. I wanted to capture three characters in which I had made up, a year ago into existance. Above are my progress, bits and pieces of development. Further refinement will be done. watch this space. I also showed my tutor a gif I made, it was a creature with blinking eyes. It would be an animation in which I would apply to the three characters. so it would seem as if you are looking at the three of them while the three of them are looking back at you.

Let there be light

I was wondering what I should put first. Usually the first piece of work on a blog would be the very last one any visitor would see. Well, I don't care. This is as of the date posted, one of my personal favorites done by me. The traits were taken in a black and white film camera by my friend, Jeremy Chua, a photography major. I did the post work. I don't like explaining my works, maybe cos most don't really have very deep reasons.

But alas, let it speak for itself.
